Job Summary

Conduct individual, group, family, and specialty therapy sessions under supervision, including trauma and co-occurring care. Perform comprehensive assessments, render diagnoses, and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with state regulatory standards. Document all services and file updates within designated timeframes while participating in clinical staffing meetings. Manage crisis situations and coordinate emergency services as they arise. Assist clients through transition processes and provide clinical consultation to the treatment team. Complete mandatory training, including CPI or de-escalation protocols, and maintain professional relationships with referral sources and coworkers.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related field
  • Full licensure with the applicable board of professional registration for the state they are practicing
  • Completion of all required clinical supervision hours
  • Passing a licensing exam
  • Willingness to become licensed in additional states, other than the state currently licensed in
  • Willingness and comfort with providing telehealth services
  • Successful completion of background check including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect and fingerprint check
  • Completion of New Hire Orientation at the beginning of employment
  • All training requirements including Relias at the beginning of employment and annually thereafter
  • Current driver's license
  • Acceptable driving record
  • Current auto insurance
  • Behavioral Management training completed within thirty (30) days of employment
  • Demonstrate understanding of Collaborative Service Goals (CSGs) within 30 Days of employment
  • Achievement of thirty-six (36) hour training requirements within a 2 year period
  • Knowledge of the policies, procedures, and regulations of the program to which the associate is assigned
  • Ability to provide services at the school site during school operating hours (for school based services programs)

Desired Qualifications

  • Training and demonstrated expertise regarding diagnostic criteria of individuals with substance use disorders and/or mental health issues
  • Thorough knowledge of caseload management and rehabilitation methods, principles and techniques as they relate to mental health and/or substance use disorder treatment services
  • Detailed knowledge of the problems encountered by persons with mental health and/or substance use disorders
  • Knowledge of the methods and modalities as well as the legal requirements and court procedures related to treating mental health and/or substance use disorders
  • Knowledge of supervisory and training techniques and practices used in a mental health and/or substance use disorder treatment setting
  • Aptitude to develop, coordinate, and evaluate services within assigned programs
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Capability to communicate ideas clearly and effectively verbally and in writing to produce clear and concise reports
  • Ability to establish effective relationships via telephone or telehealth and personal contacts
  • Ability to follow direction and accept supervision
  • Demonstrate interest in long term and short term goals and objectives of the company
