Job Summary
Conduct VPK and School Readiness support visits using the DEL monitoring tool to ensure providers meet developmentally appropriate and safe early education standards. Enter monitoring data into databases, partner with quality specialists to verify basic standards, and issue Corrective Action Plans when necessary. Liaise with staff regarding provider closures, contract changes, and health and safety issues while fielding inquiries from parents and providers. Review and approve provider profiles in the CCR&R database, assist the contracts team with contractual requirements, and attend a minimum of 30 hours of annual professional development.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree from an accredited institution in early childhood education, social services or other closely related field
- Valid Florida Driver's License
- Ability to drive a passenger vehicle

- Knowledge of School Readiness and VPK policies and procedures (Florida Statutes and Florida Administrative Code)
- Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Products
- This position requires successful completion of the level 2 background screening standards as set forth in s. 435.04, F.S.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in early childhood programs, monitoring or coaching experience preferred
