Job Summary
Field-based Provider Relationship Manager serving as the primary liaison for in-network provider groups across the region. Responsibilities include conducting in-person/virtual visits, building trust with physicians and practice leadership, ensuring member access and smooth referral/authorization processes, resolving claims and billing issues, supporting quality and coding education, monitoring provider performance, onboarding newly contracted groups, and traveling regionally to maintain relationships and drive network performance.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in: Provider relations
- 5+ years experience in: Network operations
- 5+ years experience in: Practice management
- 5+ years experience in: Health plan operations
- Strong understanding of: Claims processing
- Strong understanding of: Authorizations
- Strong understanding of: Credentialing
- Strong understanding of: Network adequacy
- Experience working directly with physician groups and MSOs
- Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills
- Willingness to travel regionally (50–70%)
