Provider Relations Specialist

Job Summary
Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with referring providers, service line leaders and community stakeholders in assigned markets; collaborate with providers, service line leaders, marketing, and operations to align outreach activities with organizational priorities and referral workflows; conduct regular outreach, practice visits, and relationship-building activities to support referral growth and retention; serve as a primary point of contact for provider inquiries related to referrals, access, services, and clinical programs; identify and troubleshoot challenges related to referrals, scheduling, access, and care coordination in partnership with internal teams; support strategic growth by identifying referral opportunities and market trends; analyze referral data and provider feedback to inform leadership and guide strategy; prepare reports and insights for leadership; represent the organization professionally in all interactions. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, marketing, sales, or a related healthcare field required
- 3–5 years of experience in provider relations, healthcare, business development, physician liaison, or a related role required
- Strong knowledge of healthcare delivery systems, referral processes, and provider practice operations
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency in various computer applications including Microsoft Office
- Ability to analyze problems and develop alternate solutions
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and travel within the service area
