Provider Relations Coordinator

Job Summary
Coordinates provider relations activities including onboarding, contract administration, and issue resolution for provider network. Maintains provider data accuracy, facilitates communication between internal teams and providers, ensures regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include assisting with claims issues, inputting providers into Salesforce, training education and re-education, responding to member inquiries, claims utilization reporting, Beacon and Health Axis ticket analysis, uploading new agreements into Salesforce, consolidating provider rosters, updating Beacon provider information, working the Pre-Check Run for Non-Par Providers, contracting new providers, and supporting plan growth.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
- High School Diploma or GED Required
- Experience working in a health care environment, preferably an HMO/PPO
- Must have a working knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid programs
- Must have a solid knowledge and understanding of managed care industry
- Proficiency in MS office suite
- Customer service leadership experience preferred.
