Job Summary

Lead policy development for behavioral health reimbursement policy and oversee the provider reimbursement strategy, ensuring accurate adjudication of claims by translating coding, business and billing rules into effective reimbursement policies. Serve as the subject matter expert on reimbursement policies, behavioral health standards, billing and coding conventions. Develop and implement reimbursement policy rules, collaborate with multiple business areas to align cost of care targets with financial plans, conduct complex research to ensure projections meet targets, prepare cost of care analyses to support regional initiatives, and manage special projects to reduce administrative expenses while improving service. Requires a BA/BS and 7+ years of reimbursement experience; CPC highly preferred and MBA preferred; hybrid/office-based work arrangement with in-office presence 1–2 days per week and EST/CST hours, with a policy that remote/wfh options may be considered for commuting-distance candidates. Required Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in a related field
  • minimum of 7 years reimbursement experience including detailed financial modeling and economic analyses
  • CPC certification strongly preferred
  • MBA or other advanced degree strongly preferred
  • strong behavioral health background preferred
  • strong analytical and communication skills
  • understanding of pricing methodologies preferred
