Job Summary
The Provider Liaison Pharmacist focuses on optimizing the clinical quality and cost-effectiveness of drug therapy for state Medicaid agency members by utilizing analytical tools and evidence-based evaluations. This role includes managing accounts, collaborating with corporate resources, and leading specific projects ensuring high satisfaction for clients. Responsibilities encompass auditing assistance, delivering educational training to prescribers, conducting utilization management, and providing consultative services. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record in managing healthcare pharmacy operations.
Required Qualifications
- PharmD and 5+ years’ experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3 years' of SME in respective areas
- Must hold current Tennessee Board of Pharmacy licensure or complete license reciprocity prior to contract go-live date
- Registered Pharmacist license in good standing and the ability to obtain licensure in specific state as necessary within 6 months
