Job Summary
Conduct psychiatric assessments, diagnostic workups, and treatment planning for patients with depression, anxiety, trauma, and addiction. Manage common psychiatric medications and crisis situations while delivering telehealth services via our EHR platform. Provide initial 60-minute consultations and 30-minute follow-ups with no-show protection and direct deposit payment. As an independent contractor, you set your own schedule while Rula handles credentialing, billing, marketing, and compliance. Required Qualifications
- 1+ years as a psychiatric nurse practitioner with experience with mental health assessment, diagnosis, triage, managing common psychiatric medication and treatment plans, and managing crisis situations
- An unrestricted license and valid DEA number registered in the state you'd like to work with Rula
- Independent licensure and/or working with collaborating MD, as required by state law
- Board certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
- Registration with state Prescription Monitoring Program (PMP)
- Current certificate of liability insurance
- No suspension/exclusion/debarment from participation in federal healthcare programs (e.g., Medicare, Medicaid, SCHIP)
- No adverse actions by any nursing board, hospital or other credentialing body in the past 3 years
- A master's or doctoral degree from an accredited university or graduate program in psychiatric mental health nursing
- The ability to provide telehealth
