Provider Enrollment Specialist- Temp to permanent

Job Summary
Coordinate Medicare and Medicaid enrollment, re-enrollment, and managed care credentialing processes while maintaining NPI files and provider numbers. Submit applications for new enrollments and updates, follow up with carriers via telephone or writing, and monitor accounts receivable to maximize reimbursement. Act as the billing system administrator and Superuser, assisting practices with system issues, training staff on corrections, and resolving outstanding claims or appeals. Serve as the customer service liaison interacting with patients, insurance carriers, and practice personnel to ensure accurate billing and payment terms. Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and company policies while performing related duties as required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of Payer Enrollment experience
- Solid knowledge and utilization of PC applications to include WORD, EXCEL, ACCESS
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organization and planning skills with demonstrated teamwork skills
- Proven ability to interact with all levels of management and other Associates
- Must be available for onsite work in Irving, TX
- Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm, 40 hrs/week shift availability
- Must comply with Medicare and Medicaid provider enrollment guidelines
- Must follow the clients guidelines related to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience as a Superuser of a Billing System
- Experience with Athena correspondence and unpostables
- Experience with managed care credentialing and contracting processes
- Experience with billing system administration
