Job Summary
Manage provider enrollment and re-enrollment functions for contracted insurance carriers and government payers, serving as a resource to implement and resolve credentialing issues. Liaise directly with payer contacts and employed physicians to ensure all applications are completed within specified time periods. Maintain proficiency in Microsoft Office products while utilizing CAQH, PECOS, and NCTracks to track progress. Requires a Bachelor's degree or four years of managed care credentialing experience, with a focus on problem-solving and meeting assigned timelines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college
- Minimum of four years' experience working in managed care, credentialing, or revenue cycle
- One year of applicable experience
- Successful healthcare or finance-oriented internship with good references
- Strong understanding of provider credentialing
- Working knowledge of CAQH
- Working knowledge of PECOS
- Working knowledge of NCTracks
- Ability to work independently
