Provider Coordinator

Schedules and coordinates patient appointments, procedures and tests; verifies insurance and obtains prior authorizations as needed; provides department support including reception, telephone coverage, patient check-in, and maintains and communicates provider schedules; may manage patient data in the electronic medical record; may assist with credentialing, reimbursements, and training materials; collaborates to promote efficient clinical operations and exceptional patient experience; supports chart preparation, document handling, and regulatory data reporting; participates in maintaining department records and ensuring documentation is complete.
