Job Summary
Post rent payments, process daily deposits, and maintain accurate resident ledgers while managing delinquency end to end, including late notices, statutory notices, payment plans, and coordination with legal counsel on evictions. Prepare weekly and monthly reports on occupancy, leasing activity, and budget variance, then assist with invoice coding, purchase orders, and move-in/move-out accounting. Carry an individual leasing and renewal goal by conducting tours, following up on leads, and executing renewal campaigns and rent increases. Serve as an escalation point for resident concerns, coordinate community events, and document lease violations. Assist with unit turns, vendor scheduling, and hiring office staff, while walking the property daily to identify maintenance issues and participating in the on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of experience in property management, leasing, hospitality, retail, or a comparable customer-facing role
- Strong math skills and attention to detail; comfort with ledgers, spreadsheets, and reconciliation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work weekends and extended hours during peak leasing and turn seasons
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Desired Qualifications
- Prior multifamily property management experience, including collections and evictions
- Working knowledge of Yardi, Entrata, RealPage, or comparable property management software
- Familiarity with the Arizona Residential Landlord and Tenant Act and Fair Housing requirements
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
