Job Summary
Fabricate functional and visual prototypes of parts, assemblies, and finished devices using FDM, SLA/MSLA, and other additive manufacturing methods. Prepare 3D models for prototyping by checking geometry, adapting designs to manufacturing technologies, and identifying potential construction issues before production. Execute assembly, machining, and finishing tasks including drilling, threading, grinding, and laser cutting to bring prototypes to a working state. Conduct basic mechanical and functional tests, verify device mechanics, and provide feedback to designers. Manage the prototype queue, monitor material usage, and maintain laboratory equipment. Collaborate with designers, hardware engineers, and testers to validate ergonomics, fit, and function.
Required Qualifications
- Базове володіння SolidWorks чи іншою CAD-системою
- Розуміння твердотільної геометрії, зборок, зазорів, посадок і взаємного розташування деталей
- Уміння перевірити модель перед виготовленням і виявити потенційні проблеми
- Адаптація моделей під 3D-друк, механічну обробку або іншу технологію прототипування
- Виконання нескладних конструктивних змін: додавання кріплень, отворів, фасок, ребер, технологічних зазорів
- Робота з форматами STL, STEP, 3MF, OBJ та іншими форматами обміну 3D-даних
- Розуміння властивостей матеріалів для 3D-друку: PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, PA, TPU та інженерних композитів
- Готовність працювати руками, експериментувати та доводити прототип до працездатного стану
