Prototype Machinist

Interpret drawings and verbal instructions to identify critical features for producing parts in an R&D environment. Perform manual and CNC machining using milling, lathe, and surface grinder equipment while selecting appropriate tools and processes. Respond in real time to varying part requirements that may change or need on-the-fly fitting. Program or edit G-Code and design advanced fixtures to support small quantity manufacturing. This role suits an experienced Tool Room or CNC Machinist who enjoys a wide variety of work and thinking on their feet.
