Job Summary
Prototype Engineering Planner III responsibilities include analyzing engineering drawings, generating and documenting the 'as-built' configuration by capturing the build BOM, ensuring Quality, Cost, and Schedule Compliance, identify and implement process improvements, conduct BOM analysis and material management, and procure components from engineering stores while managing quality discrepancies. Requires a STEM bachelor’s degree and at least five years of relevant experience, with active DoD security clearance; onsite in Tucson, AZ with relocation possible depending on eligibility. The role supports cross-disciplinary design teams and rapid prototyping throughout the product lifecycle; familiarity with BOMs, manufacturing instructions, and Microsoft Office is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
- minimum of five years of prior relevant experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required
