Job Summary
Design and execute molecular biology and biochemistry experiments to address key research questions, utilizing techniques such as PCR, cloning, gene expression analysis, protein purification, and enzymatic assays. Analyze experimental data using statistical and bioinformatics tools, then interpret results to guide further experimentation and project direction. Prepare technical reports, presentations, and manuscripts for internal review and external publication while staying informed about the latest advancements in the field. Work closely with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate research efforts and achieve project milestones.
Required Qualifications
- Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field
- Prior research experience in molecular biology/biochemistry, demonstrated through publications or projects
- Minimum of 2 year of relevant laboratory experience
- Proficiency in molecular biology and biochemistry techniques such as PCR, cloning, Western blotting, protein expression, and purification
- Experience with bioinformatics tools for data analysis and interpretation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
