Job Summary
Conduct resource protection duties by identifying theft, mischief, and fraud while maintaining a safe environment for customers and staff. Perform security audits, document evidence, and type clear reports as required. Approach situations with a customer-first mindset, maintaining a professional demeanor when interacting with the public, staff, and law enforcement. Execute arrests, ask to pays, and product recoveries in compliance with all company policies. Commute regularly across multiple locations in the Lower Mainland on up to 40 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Valid BC Security Worker's Licence with Security Guard endorsement
- Solid decision-making skills with the ability to make quick decisions under difficult circumstances
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Demonstrated ability to work well with minimal supervision
- Integrity, enthusiasm, and willingness to Go the Extra Mile
- Open availability
Desired Qualifications
- Valid Advanced Security Training/AST
- Fluency in a second language
