Job Summary
Conduct facility patrols, monitor security systems, and manage access control while greeting visitors and employees. Handle security breaches, emergencies, and major catastrophe procedures by following DHS protocols and executing closure procedures. Provide roving guard services, perimeter and interior patrols, and escort or courier support. Maintain effective client relationships and report safety concerns. This role requires a Maryland Security Guard License, handgun permit, and two years of armed security experience. Applicants must be 21+, U.S. citizens, and pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam. A DHS suitability letter is preferred. Required Qualifications
- Maryland Security Guard License
- Maryland Handgun Permit
- At least 21 years old
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years of armed security experience (police, law enforcement, civilian, etc.), or 3 to 5 years of military or National Guard (active duty or reserve), or equivalent experience in armed security services
- Firearm experience
- Fluent in English
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to provide quality customer service and handle emergencies
- Pass a pre-employment background check, drug screen, physical exam, and reference check
- Obtain a DHS Suitability Letter Clearance
- 21 years of age and a citizen of the United States
- Pass a drug test
- Undergo basic medical screening

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
