Job Summary
The Protective Security Officer will be responsible for protecting federal property and employees from theft, damage, hazards, and interference. Key responsibilities include controlling access to the facility, monitoring entrances and exits, patrolling the site, and responding to various emergencies according to established procedures. Candidates must have at least two years of security experience, be able to comply with licensing requirements, and communicate effectively in English.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to speak, read, and write using coherent English language.
- Must be 21 years old
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Have two years of security guard experience or DD214 equivalent
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable federal, state, county, and municipal licensing requirement for Security Officers.
