Job Summary
The Protective Security Officer will protect federal property and employees from theft, damage, hazards, or interference, while controlling access to the client facility. Key responsibilities include monitoring entrances and exits, patrolling the site, responding to incidents, and preparing logs or reports as required. Candidates must be capable of handling stressful situations and fulfill licensing requirements. This position requires two years of security guard experience or equivalent, and candidates must be able to communicate fluently in English.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 21 years old
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Have two years of security guard experience or DD214 equivalent
- Must be able to speak, read, and write using coherent English language
- Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable federal, state, county, and municipal licensing requirement for Security Officers
