Job Summary
Protection Officer at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise overnight to maintain a secured environment for patients, staff and visitors. Responsibilities include managing safety during disasters, fires and bomb threats; directing or escorting individuals on campus; conducting package inspections and validating IDs; reporting hazards and equipment malfunctions; operating a vehicle, two-way radio, cameras, and surveillance equipment; and possibly restraining individuals as needed to ensure safety. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and Basic Life Support certification at hire; driving privileges must be active.
