Job Summary
Protection Engineer responsible for delivering power system protection services including model development, short circuit analysis, relay settings development, area coordination studies, standards development, relay operation analysis, and technical reviews of drawings and relay settings, with mentoring of less experienced engineers. Requires BSEE or equivalent, 5+ years in protection engineering, SEL Relay Setting Experience, ASPEN OneLiner or PSSE CAPE experience, strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills, and ability to meet fast-paced project schedules; occasional travel is required; P.E. license preferred; must not require visa sponsorship.
Required Qualifications
- BSEE or equivalent degree
- 5+ years protection engineering experience
- SEL Relay Setting Experience
- ASPEN OneLiner or PSSE CAPE experience
