Job Summary
Deliver high-quality research profiles, briefings, and network insights to inform engagement and income generation for Principal and Leadership Giving teams. Partner closely with fundraisers to manage portfolios, allocate prospects, and track pipeline progression while proactively identifying high-value prospects aligned to strategic priorities. Produce actionable recommendations, biographical profiles, and portfolio reviews to strengthen donor engagement, ensuring timely delivery against service standards and KPIs. Maintain rigorous data integrity within the CRM database and contribute to refining prospecting strategies and team processes. Support the £400m 'More Research, Less Cancer' campaign across the Francis Crick Institute, Cancer Grand Challenges, and Future Leaders' programme.
Required Qualifications
- Visa eligibility to work in the UK
- Demonstrable track record of success in prospect research
- Strong understanding of major gift and Trusts & Foundations fundraising
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Ability to produce profiles and network lists for individuals and trusts
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to collect and assess information rapidly
- Ability to identify key points and draw conclusions
- Innovative mindset with initiative to solve problems and think laterally
- Strong relationship-building and collaboration skills
- Ability to influence and challenge constructively
- Familiarity with fundraising databases and prospect management systems (CRM)
- Age 18 or over
