Job Summary
ProSales Associate participates in Herc Rentals’ Black and Gold Academy, a structured 12-month sales training program designed to prepare participants for eventual placement into a Territory Sales Representative role. The program covers professional selling skills, account management, territory planning, customer engagement, and understanding the company's product portfolio. The role includes field sales exposure, shadowing experienced reps, visiting customer job sites, assisting with lead generation and revenue growth within assigned territories, and gaining operations exposure (branch operations, logistics, customer service) with potential relocation opportunities to support career growth. The path aims to develop a long-term career in sales within a Fortune 1000 organization, with advancement into sales leadership and other advanced roles.
Required Qualifications
- 0–5 years of sales experience or relevant customer facing experience
- Associate or bachelor's degree preferred
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to travel within assigned territory
- Interest in a long term sales career with opportunities for advancement
