Job Summary
Conduct job development and job search activities to assist clients in obtaining employment. Assist in employability skill development, interview and resume preparedness, and provide individualized support for maintaining employment. Offer benefits counseling and educate family members and employers while negotiating job accommodations as needed. Work collaboratively with team members to achieve employment outcomes for individuals acquiring skills to live successfully in their communities.
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA degree in mental health, social services or business
- Must be capable to sit or stand in front of a computer for long-periods of time
- Able to work in open space floor plan
- Must be capable to move throughout work day (and follow individuals throughout the community)
- Work alongside co-workers within 3 feet
- Must be able to move in tight spaces
- Occasional lifting of > _25+ pounds
- Ability to achieve employment outcomes is essential
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with people with a serious mental illness is preferred
- Experience providing employment services is preferred
