Job Summary
Propulsion Structures Stress Analysis Engineer performing structural analysis using defined tools to develop structural environment and performance; develops, integrates and documents structural requirements; creates test plans and configurations, supports test execution and analyzes results to verify compliance with requirements; documents certification and test results for customers and regulatory agencies; investigates failures and analyzes improvements for in-service products; coordinates with other engineering groups to establish product environment; uses analytical methods, finite element models, and other tools to verify structural integrity across the product lifecycle; role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and includes responsibilities around design verification and regulatory substantiation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, Aeronautical or Material Sciences)
- 2+ years of relevant work experience
- 2+ years of experience working with Stress analysis /structural analysis
- 2+ years of experience with production systems in a manufacturing or engineering capacity
- 2+ years of experience working with cross-functional teams
