Job Summary
Proposal Engineer III responsible for preparing, coordinating, and submitting competitive technical and commercial proposals for gas compression and gas processing projects. Key duties include reviewing RFQs/ITBs and client specifications, developing technical proposals (process design concepts, equipment selection, system configurations such as gas compression, treatment, dehydration, and separation), coordinating with engineering, procurement, project management, and supply chain to gather inputs, preparing cost estimates and commercial proposals, ensuring compliance with technical, commercial, and contractual requirements, identifying risks and opportunities, liaising with vendors and subcontractors for quotations and data, participating in bid clarification meetings, providing technical support during client discussions, maintaining databases of costs and supplier information, supporting contract negotiations and handover to execution teams, and staying updated on industry standards and market trends in gas processing. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in engineering and extensive experience in proposal engineering, gas processing, EPC projects, and related codes/HSE practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
- 5+ years of Project Engineering/Proposal Engineering Experience
- 5+ years of engineering, design, and construction experience
- 5+ years’ experience using applicable codes and safety regulations
- 3+ years’ experience with gas compression, gas processing and refrigeration equipment
- 3+ years’ experience with EPC projects and fabrication facilities
