Proposals Development Associate II

Job Summary
Lead and prepare complex client-focused proposals, budgets and client grids for new business opportunities and ensure that the proposal information is provided within the required timeframe. Chair kick-off/resource meetings, coordinate participation of appropriate personnel, set up clinical strategy meetings, liaise with sales, strategic proposal development and operations, prepare costs, and submit final proposals. Coordinate and participate in negotiations and discussions with clients, attend bid defenses, and assist with budgets and contracts for new awards. Requires a Bachelor’s degree, at least 3 years’ relevant experience in consultancy and/or Phase I trials, strong Excel & Word skills, and Grid Mapping experience; travel at least 5% of the time. Icon is remote-friendly for US-based roles.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree required
- At least 3 years’ relevant experience with a strong working knowledge of the consultancy space and/or Phase I clinical trials
- Exceptional Excel & Word skills
- Prior Grid Mapping experience required
- Ability and willingness to travel at least 5% of the time (international and domestic: fly and drive)
