Job Summary
Proposal Writer for Federal IT Support Services (Part-Time/Ad Hoc, 1099). Remote telework with ad-hoc assignments to support Navanti’s Business Development team in capturing IT services opportunities with the U.S. Federal Government. Core duties include writing, editing, and rewriting technical sections of RFI/RFP responses and proposals; developing proposal themes, discriminators, and key success factors; assembling compliant and compelling proposal narratives; translating technical solutions into readable responses; improving readability via active voice and concise language; leading proposal content storyline development with internal stakeholders; clarifying implementation approaches and services; ensuring contextual integrity of each section; and reviewing edits from contributors.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in proposal development for U.S. Federal Government IT support services
- Strong skills with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent writing, editing, and formatting skills
- Strong attention to detail and proven organizational skills
- Ability to meet commitments and deadlines
- Strong customer service orientation
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-motivator with demonstrated ability to work independently
- Strong contributor in a cross-functional team environment on complex projects
