Job Summary
Proposal Writer within Black & Veatch's Water Portfolio Pursuits group who partners with internal clients to develop persuasive, technically accurate content supporting business capture efforts and proposal development. Responsibilities include creating high-quality, engaging content, translating complex ideas into accessible stories, reviewing and editing proposals for clarity and consistency, interviewing Subject Matter Experts, ensuring messaging aligns with sales objectives, collaborating with engineers and production professionals, and planning/workload management to meet tough deadlines in a hybrid work environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism or a related field; or equivalent experience
- 2+ years related experience
- Proven writing, editing and proposal-development capabilities
- Microsoft Office proficiency with Word; familiarity with Adobe InDesign and Photoshop
