Job Summary
Lead large, complex, priority must-win pursuits from capture through to interview stage within the Federal Marketing team, focusing on DoD and Civilian agency proposals. Responsible for leading proposal development activities, coordinating with growth teams, developing win strategies, and ensuring quality and compliance of all deliverables. Proficient in proposal writing, sections such as executive summaries and past performance, and experienced with tools like InDesign, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat. Requires a Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of related experience, with a hybrid work arrangement in Chicago, IL. The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration, strategic planning, and process improvement across multiple disciplines and geographies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree + 6 years of experience collaborating within a marketing team to lead and/or support proposal activity, or a demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
- Strong knowledge of proposal best practices and procedures, work processes, and tools as related to Federal proposal management of RFQ/P responses.
- Strong working knowledge of InDesign as well as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Developed understanding of effective proposal and presentation writing and production.
- Demonstrates excellent writing and editing skills, consistently applying strong attention to detail and a drive for continuous quality improvement.
- Ability to produce accurate, compliant, and compelling work independently and with others.
- Evidence of successful leadership.
- Proven organizational and administrative skills, including the ability to complete varied work tasks on schedule, guide deliverable efforts by others, and manage documents and deadlines effectively.
- Initiative, skill, and personal commitment to manage multiple projects and details concurrently, follow up, and bring tasks and projects to completion.
