Job Summary

Lead and manage high-stakes federal proposals within AECOM's Federal Marketing team, focusing on DoD and civilian agency opportunities. Drive proposal strategy, develop and review content, coordinate with capture and operations, oversee regulatory compliance, and manage multi-discipline bids from capture through interview. Responsibilities include leading responses to RFIs/RFQ/RFPs, producing first-draft content and outlines, coordinating print/electronic deliverables, conducting market research and competitive intelligence, facilitating Go/No-Go decisions, leading color reviews, and ensuring quality and timeliness of all deliverables. Requires senior-level writing, editing, and project-management skills, with a proven ability to lead teams, work across geographies, and deliver compelling, compliant proposals in a fast-paced government-contracting environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree + 6 years of experience collaborating within a marketing team to lead and/or support proposal activity, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
  • Strong knowledge of proposal best practices and procedures related to Federal RFQ/P responses
  • Strong working knowledge of InDesign, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat
  • Demonstrated writing and editing skills with attention to detail and continuous quality improvement
  • Ability to produce accurate, compliant, and compelling work independently and with others
  • Proven leadership and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, English, Communications, or related field
  • 6+ years of experience collaborating within a marketing team to lead and/or support proposal activity or demonstrated equivalency of experience/education
  • Strong knowledge of InDesign, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat
  • Excellent writing and editing skills with attention to detail and quality improvement
  • Experience leading large, complex, priority pursuits from capture through interview stage
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently and with others
  • Experience with RFQ/RFP responses, Go/No-Go processes, and proposal strategy
  • Familiarity with strategic planning, market research, and competitive intelligence
  • Experience with federal government proposals (DoD and civilian agencies)
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
