Job Summary
Proposal Specialist IV focusing on leading complex federal proposals within AECOM’s Federal Marketing team, leveraging writing, formatting, and strategic planning to win DoD and Civilian opportunities. Responsible for directing proposal content development, managing schedules, coordinating with growth and operations, delivering compliant and compelling responses, conducting market research and competitive intelligence, and mentoring teams across environments. The role includes hybrid work with in-office Phoenix, AZ, and requires a bachelor’s degree plus several years of experience in proposal management, strong command of writing and production tools, and demonstrated leadership in pursuit activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree + 6 years of experience in marketing/proposal activity or equivalent experience/education
- Strong knowledge of proposal best practices and procedures for federal procurement
- Proficiency with InDesign, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat
- Excellent writing and editing skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and with teams; leadership experience
- Experience leading large, complex pursuits from capture through interview; management of schedules and deliverables
