Job Summary
Lead winning DoD and Civilian agency proposals as part of AECOM’s Federal Marketing team. Manage large, complex pursuits from capture through interview, coordinate with the business line growth team and operations, and drive proposal strategy and compliance. Responsible for printing, electronic delivery, writing components (cover letters, executive summaries, past performance, management approaches, resumes/staffing), and guiding authors to produce compliant, high-quality submissions. Requires strong writing/editing skills, InDesign/Microsoft Office proficiency, ability to manage multiple projects, and experience with proposal processes, color reviews, and capture planning.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree + 6 years of experience collaborating within a marketing team to lead and/or support proposal activity, or a demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
- Strong knowledge of proposal best practices and procedures, work processes, and tools as related to Federal proposal management of RFQ/P responses.
- Strong working knowledge of InDesign as well as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Developed understanding of effective proposal and presentation writing and production.
- Demonstrates excellent writing and editing skills, consistently applying strong attention to detail and a drive for continuous quality improvement.
- Ability to produce accurate, compliant, and compelling work independently and with others.
- Evidence of successful leadership.
- Proven organizational and administrative skills, including the ability to complete varied work tasks on schedule, guide deliverable efforts by others, and manage documents and deadlines effectively.
- Initiative, skill, and personal commitment to manage multiple projects and details concurrently, follow up, and bring tasks and projects to completion.
