Job Summary
Proposal Specialist at Hennebery Eddy Architects leads and coordinates the development of architectural proposals from kick-off to final production, collaborating with project teams, leadership, and external partners. Responsibilities include planning, formatting, editing, and packaging proposals to ensure clarity, compliance, and brand alignment; customizing strategy and messaging for each pursuit; supporting interview preparation with visuals and collateral; layout design in Adobe InDesign; editing and synthesizing content from multiple contributors; drafting original written content describing architectural processes and firm values; creating infographics and graphics in Adobe Creative Suite; managing the marketing database (Cosential/Unanet) and supporting Marketing Managers with collateral and online content. Required strengths include strong project management, advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, persuasive writing and editing, clear communication, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines with high-demand schedules. The role can be located in Portland, OR; Bend, OR; or Bozeman, MT and requires a bachelor’s degree and at least four years of relevant experience in the AEC space.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, architecture/design, or a related combination of education and experience
- Minimum of four years of relevant professional experience with at least two years in the architecture/engineering/construction (AEC) industry
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
- Strong editorial and writing skills
- Excellent project management and ability to drive proposals from start to finish
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under deadline pressure
- Clear communication and collaboration with firm leadership and teams
