Job Summary
Proposal Specialist drives proposal development and supports the organization's sales and business development efforts. The role collaborates with internal stakeholders to develop high-quality proposals, presentations, and supporting documentation that move opportunities through the sales process. The ideal candidate is mid-level, process-driven, detail-oriented, and capable of quickly taking ownership of proposal execution as a trusted extension of the team. Key responsibilities include preparing and managing proposal submissions, coordinating timelines and deliverables, gathering information from internal stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and quality of documents, maintaining proposal templates and content libraries, supporting business development initiatives, assisting with client-facing documentation and presentations, tracking proposal status and follow-ups, and ensuring deadlines are met. Required qualifications emphasize experience with proposals, bids, RFPs, or sales support, excellent written communication, strong coordination and organizational abilities, attention to detail, ability to manage multiple deadlines, stakeholder management, experience in fast-paced environments, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and presentation tools.
