Job Summary
Hybrid, full-time Proposal & Marketing Communications Associate in San Diego, CA. Responsible for supporting the firm’s marketing and sales initiatives with a focus on proposal writing and marketing communications, managing the full RFP process, and contributing to event logistics, branded materials, and communication campaigns. Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of proposal-writing experience; strong writing and project-management skills; based in San Diego with a hybrid work arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Marketing, Journalism, English, Communications, or Public Relations
- 2+ years’ experience in proposal writing
- Strong proficiency using Microsoft Office
- Excellent writing and editing skills
- Strong project management skills and the ability to work at a fast pace under tight deadlines
- A team player with strong communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Financial services industry experience preferred
- Experience managing a response database using Responsive or another proposal writing software preferred
- Adobe Creative Suite and Salesforce preferred
