Job Summary
Proposal Manager responsible for preparing tender/proposal submissions to customers and managing the process through contract signature, coordinating with engineering, finance, legal, project management, manufacturing, procurement, and other departments; tasked with ensuring timely and accurate proposals, reviewing contract terms, performing financial and risk analyses, and developing win strategies. The role involves interaction with customers as the primary point of contact during the bid phase, coordinating with other Wabtec product lines, and ensuring ISO/IRIS standards are followed. Relocation assistance may be provided; remote work will be considered but relocation is preferred. Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience are required; rail industry experience and proficiency in French are preferred. Demonstrates capability to handle multi-million-dollar proposals from initial opportunity identification through negotiation and project launch.
