Job Summary
Manage all phases of the proposal development lifecycle from RFP analysis through final submission for federal government opportunities. Develop and enforce proposal schedules, compliance matrices, and outline documents while coordinating color team reviews and incorporating feedback. Work closely with capture managers, subject matter experts, pricing teams, and subcontractors to gather and integrate content. Write, edit, and improve technical and management sections to ensure clarity, compliance, and persuiveness. Manage the proposal library, past performance repository, and reusable content database to ensure all submissions meet RFP requirements and are delivered on time. Requires 5+ years of federal government proposal management experience and strong knowledge of FAR, DFAR, and federal procurement regulations.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of federal government proposal management experience
- Strong knowledge of FAR, DFAR, and federal procurement regulations
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent proposals under tight deadlines
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills
- Proficiency with proposal tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat)
Desired Qualifications
- APMP Foundation or Practitioner certification
- Experience with DoD, IC, or DHS proposals
- Active security clearance (Secret or higher)
- Experience with GovWin IQ, Sam.gov, or similar opportunity tracking tools
