Job Summary
Lead end-to-end proposal lifecycle management from pre-RFP planning through final submission, developing and managing schedules, timelines, and deliverables. Write, edit, and tailor proposal narratives, qualifications, and executive summaries while translating technical input into clear, compelling, client-focused messaging. Coordinate strategy sessions, kickoffs, and review meetings with Estimating, Project Management, Operations, and Preconstruction teams to gather inputs and align with win strategies. Maintain content libraries, ensure branding consistency, conduct quality reviews for accuracy, and track metrics to improve efficiency and success rates. Manage documentation, version control, and final packaging while ensuring compliance with all RFP/RFQ requirements.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of experience in proposal management, business development, or preconstruction support
- Strong writing, editing, and document management skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple proposals under tight deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Exceptional organizational and attention-to-detail skills
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or coursework in business, communications, marketing, or construction management, or related field
- Experience in construction, mechanical contracting, or engineering environments
- Familiarity with RFP, RFQ, and design-build procurement processes
- Experience with proposal tools (InDesign, CRM systems, or content libraries)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
