Job Summary
Proposal Coordinator at Planate Management Group will manage the full proposal lifecycle, coordinate development and submission of proposals, prepare and maintain compliance matrices, lead or participate in kick-off meetings, draft and edit content, and collaborate with technical PMs and subject-matter experts to develop win themes and compelling narratives. Responsibilities include researching RFPs/RFQs/RFIs/EOIs/SOs, coordinating supporting materials (technical write-ups, resumes/CVs, past performance, graphics, forms), and ensuring timely production and final electronic submission. Requires a bachelor's degree (or equivalent), 1–3 years of proposal coordination or technical writing experience, strong writing/editing skills, excellent organization, proficiency with Microsoft Word and Adobe, and ability to work with cross-functional teams; familiarity with government contracting is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent
- 1–3 years of experience in proposal coordination, proposal writing, or technical writing
- Experience preparing responses to RFPs/RFQs/RFIs/EOIs/Sources Sought/SOQs
- Strong proposal writing, editing, proofreading, and communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Adobe applications
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to perform in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with government contracting processes is an advantage
