Job Summary
Planate Management Group is seeking a Proposal Coordinator to plan, coordinate, and deliver winning proposals and SOQs. In partnership with the Proposal Manager, you will manage the full proposal lifecycle, lead kickoff meetings, develop production schedules, support technical PMs in formulating win themes, draft and edit content, coordinate final production and submission, ensure compliance, manage materials and document control, and produce final deliverables. Responsibilities include analyzing RFPs/RFQs/RFIs/EOIs/SS/SOQs, developing compliance matrices, coordinating proposals and qualifications packages, researching and producing proposal narratives, collecting supporting materials (resumes/CVs, project experience, past performance, graphics, forms), facilitating reviews, and coordinating final assembly and submission.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent education/experience
- 1–3 years of experience in proposal coordination, proposal writing, or technical writing
- Experience preparing responses to RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, EOIs, Sources Sought (SS), and SOQs (preferably within the A/E industry)
- Strong proposal writing, editing, proofreading, and communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality, compliant deliverables
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Adobe applications
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Self-motivated, adaptable, capable in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with government contracting processes is an advantage
