Job Summary
Proposal Coordinator leads the development of bids (RFPs, RFQs) from Go/No-Go to submission, coordinating technical teams, estimators, and managers to create winning strategies, timelines, and content for heavy civil, commercial, or EPC projects. Responsibilities include RFP analysis and strategy, project management of the proposal schedule, content development of technical approaches and management plans, cross-functional coordination with engineering/operations/subconsultants, quality control of final documents, and post-submission activities such as client Q&A, presentations, and debriefs.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in proposal management, specifically within the construction, engineering, or heavy civil industry.
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of design-build (DB) and construction management (CM) delivery methods.
- Software Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe InDesign, and proposal management software (e.g., SharePoint).
- Communication: Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or Construction Management.
- Experience in federal, state, or private sector construction procurement.
