Property Tax Operations & Support Specialist

Job Summary
Answer incoming calls, manage mail, and process Business Personal Property Tax Returns, Extensions, Protests, and Penalty Waivers via FedEx and Certified Mail, tracking every receipt. Maintain client data in property tax software, organize documents on shared drives, and pull files from Dropbox. Serve as the primary contact for appraisal districts and collectors, ensuring missing notices and workpapers are retrieved while keeping all contact information current. Process tax bills, run weekly deadline reports, and manage the operational calendar. Handle email correspondence as a safety net and cross-train teammates to ensure workflow continuity. Flexibility for overtime and weekend work during March through May is required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Associate's degree
- 2+ years of administrative experience
