Job Summary
The Property Supervisor oversees day-to-day maintenance and operational oversight across an assigned portfolio of Reena locations. Responsibilities include monitoring and assigning preventive and corrective maintenance via an Order Tracking System, supervising contractors, ensuring safety compliance and regulatory standards, maintaining building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, safety), conducting inspections, and preparing reports. The role requires coordinating with internal stakeholders and external vendors, managing staff performance and onboarding, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate works on-site, collaborates with the Property Manager, and adheres to union and safety guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- College diploma in a relevant field such as Facility Management, Building Systems, or Property Maintenance
- Minimum 2–3 years of supervisory experience in property services, building operations, or as a site superintendent
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance repair, commercial renovations, and fire/building codes
- Experience preparing budgets, cost estimates, status reports, and procurement documentation
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, sketches, and technical specifications, and to accurately estimate construction or remodelling costs
- Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar CAD software is considered an asset (preferred)
- Valid Ontario Class G driver’s license in good standing and regular access to a reliable vehicle
