Job Summary
Coordinate leasing opportunities, move-in procedures, and unit turnovers between Cultivate Initiatives, external property managers, and leasing agents. Coach Housing and Homemaking Specialists on intake assessments, conflict resolution, and budgeting while overseeing property management systems and maintenance updates. Assess housing placement outcomes, facilitate RentWell workshops, and cultivate affordable rental leads through direct engagement with diverse communities and housing providers. Represent the organization to partners and the Multnomah County Homeless Services Department, ensuring compliance with Fair Housing laws and maintaining professional boundaries in stressful situations.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Oregon Driver's License
- Knowledgeable in Fair Housing laws and landlord-tenant regulations
- Proven ability to meet and engage with individuals from diverse cultural and identity backgrounds, including LGBTQIA+ communities
- Experience in trauma-informed care, safety awareness, and de-escalation techniques
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, Tenant Tech or other leasing softwares
- Strong organization and recordkeeping skills; ability to manage multiple projects independently
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, written and verbal communication skills
- Exhibit a strong discipline for personal time management
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move objects weighing up to 30 pounds
- Work requires the ability to travel to Portland area locations to support neighbors
- Being physically present in the CI offices from 8:30am – 4:30pm, Monday - Friday
- Must be able to provide proof of valid Driver's License
Desired Qualifications
- Two or more years of experience in property management, leasing or Property Management licensed
- RentWell Instructor Certification
