Property Room Assistant - Police Department

Receive, store, release, and dispose of physical and digital evidence and personal property while maintaining accurate chain of custody records. Manage the Property Control Room inventory, utilize evidence management software for documentation, and prepare materials for transport to state and county crime laboratories. Coordinate court-related evidence requests, deliver evidence for proceedings, and oversee personnel in courtroom settings to ensure compliance with directives and protocols. This part-time role supports the Criminal Investigations Sergeant within the Identification Section, requiring a valid Illinois driver's license and three to five years of municipal law enforcement experience.
