Job Summary
Property Risk Consultant role evaluating real estate investments for architectural, environmental, and construction risk; manages due diligence for Property Condition Assessments, Environmental Site Assessments and Seismic Risk Analyses; advises on acceptability of risks within portfolios; contracts and manages outside consulting firms; oversees Construction Draw management, budgets, and draw meetings; reviews construction-related documentation; coordinates with Closing Unit and internal teams; provides economic evaluation of capital expenditures and environmental risks; requires a Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years real estate experience, cross-training across disciplines, and willingness to travel; located at Northwestern Mutual Home Office Campus in Milwaukee, WI with short-term national travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, environmental, or construction management
- minimum of 7 years of real estate experience with institutional investors and lending
- strong communication skills
- willingness to be located in the Northwestern Mutual Home Office Campus in Milwaukee, WI
- short term national travel is required
