Job Summary
Manage property records, drainage taxation, and licensing with high accuracy, supporting current and delinquent tax calculations, processing abatements and refunds, and reconciling ACH mass electronic payments. Lead the team in tax collection, troubleshoot vendor software, and interpret deeds to verify ownership transfers and property splits. Develop spreadsheets for drainage projects, prepare public hearing agendas, and draft board orders while analyzing assessments for landowner affordability. Serve as the primary resource for the County's election processes, overseeing SVRS, voting procedures, and ballot equipment maintenance. Complete bi-annual taxation reports for state agencies and issue licenses for auctioneers, liquor, tobacco, and fireworks. Full-time, onsite role with Monday through Friday hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Starting salary of $26.51/hour.
Required Qualifications
- Two-year associate degree
- Three years of experience in related fields
- Equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job
- Minnesota Department of Revenue Property Tax Calculation Certification
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to maintain a valid driver's license
