Job Summary
Oversee and manage the insurance placement process by ensuring clear understanding of new business and renewal accounts, tracking timelines, and acting as the primary contact with the Service Team. Review submissions to the insurance market for accuracy, negotiate coverage, terms, and pricing, and prepare professional final proposals with quote comparisons. Schedule and conduct strategy calls to align on account goals, analyze insurance quotes to recommend terms, and design client insurance programs while identifying coverage gaps. Finalize bind orders, review invoices for accuracy, and maintain ongoing communication to address issues promptly. Collaborate with producers and account managers on market strategy, attend carrier meetings to stay informed on market conditions, and contribute to colleague development.
Required Qualifications
- Must be licensed as a Texas P&C Agent or able to obtain Texas P&C license
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in middle market Business Insurance
- Demonstrate ability to multi-task, prioritize work effectively with little to no direction
- Proficient at Sagitta, ImageRight, Word, Excel, and current internet technologies
- Demonstrate proactive work style
- Ability to learn, analyze and comprehend various lines of insurance and communications
- Demonstrate ability to service clients effectively through problem solving, appropriate confidentiality, and exercising diplomacy, sensitivity and tactfulness
